Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies SignNexa uses and why. SignNexa is a product of Royal Freelancing. We keep cookie use to the minimum needed to run the service, and non-essential cookies are set only after you consent.
1.Essential cookies
These are required for the site to function and cannot be turned off in our system. They do not store any information that identifies you beyond what is needed to operate the service.
2.Authentication & session cookies
signnexa.sid- a signed,HttpOnly,Secure,SameSite=Laxsession cookie that keeps you signed in. It is not readable by JavaScript.csrf- a CSRF token paired with your session to protect state-changing requests.- A short-lived OAuth state value during a social sign-in round-trip (Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, or Facebook), used to prevent request forgery. It is cleared once sign-in completes.
3.Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), delivered through Google Tag Manager under Google Consent Mode, to understand how visitors use signnexa.com (for example page views and traffic sources). GA4 sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. These are only set after you consent through our cookie banner. We do not use analytics for advertising, we do not run ad-targeting or cross-site advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share personal data.
4.Cookies we use
The table below lists the cookies SignNexa sets. Analytics cookies are placed only after you consent; the always-current list is also available through the cookie settings on our website.
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider | Category & duration |
|---|---|---|---|
signnexa.sid | Keeps you signed in. | SignNexa | Necessary; session |
csrf | Protects against cross-site request forgery. | SignNexa | Necessary; session |
cookieyes-consent | Stores your cookie-consent choices. | CookieYes | Necessary; 1 year |
_ga | Distinguishes visitors (Google Analytics 4). | Analytics; up to 2 years (after consent) | |
_ga_* | Maintains Google Analytics 4 session state. | Analytics; up to 2 years (after consent) |
During a social sign-in, a short-lived OAuth state value is held server-side within your session (the signnexa.sid cookie above), not as a separate cookie, and is cleared once sign-in completes.
5.Social sign-in
Our “Continue with” buttons use a standard server-side OAuth redirect - clicking one sends you to the provider (Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, or Facebook) to sign in. We do not embed the providers' JavaScript SDKs, so the login buttons do not set any third-party tracking cookies on our site. The provider may set its own cookies on its own domain while you sign in, governed by that provider's cookie and privacy policies.
6.Managing your consent
We use CookieYes as our consent management platform. When you first visit, you can Accept All, Reject All, or Customise which categories to allow. Essential cookies are always on; analytics cookies are off until you allow them. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page, which reopens this preference centre. CookieYes records and stores your consent choices on our behalf.
7.Your browser choices
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Because our authentication cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from signing in or using core features, and clearing them will sign you out. You can also stop all cookie use by deleting your account (see our Data Deletion Instructions).
